Originating from the “Dalheim Pharmacy”, the company name “Dalheim Pharma Service” describes the three fundamental facets of the company: Where we come from, for which area we provide services and which focus we have given ourselves. Individual solutions have always been our driving force.
The home of our company as well as of our partner company, inkosmia GmbH & Cie. KG, is Dalheim – one of the districts of Wetzlar in Central Hesse. Our Logistics Services, Wholesale and Pharmacy Purchasing Cooperation divisions operate in the pharmaceutical market and maintain business relationships with the various market participants in Germany and abroad. The basic principle here is that our services are provided exclusively for original goods from the manufacturer.
In all business areas we see ourselves as a service department for our customers: We relieve your logistics department, take over the storage, distribution and invoicing of your goods or support you regarding the procurement of your goods. All our services can be individually tailored to your needs and are aimed at your satisfaction.

Inkosmia is the exclusive distributor and manufacturer for various pharmaceutical products in the areas of tick removal, nutritional supplements and pain relief, among others.

The Greek philosopher Heraclitus (ca. 520 B.C. to 460 B.C.) probably did not have Dalheim Pharma Service in mind with the quote attributed to him, “Nothing is as constant as change.” Nevertheless, the statement also applies to us. You can see the most important steps in our development in the adjacent timeline.
1972
Gert Peter opens the Dalheim Pharmacy in Dalheim, a district of Wetzlar.
1978
Pharmacies in Wetzlar join forces to form a pharmacy purchasing association. Dalheim Pharma Service is formed.
1985
The DPS is growing, with more and more pharmacies joining the buying group.
1994
Gert Peter hands over the Dalheim Pharmacy to his employee Bertram Laux to devote himself exclusively to the DPS.
2000
Dr. Marcus Peter joins the company and from now on manages the fortunes of DPS together with his father.
2003
Gert Peter retires. Dr. Marcus Peter becomes the owner of DPS. The pharmacy purchasing association expands to 35 pharmacies with goods procurement of over 10,000 different articles from more than 200 suppliers.
2009
Foundation of inkosmia GmbH & Cie. KG to centralize own products and exclusive sales activities.
2015
Purchase of the rented warehouse. Inkosmia is growing strongly, so new storage capacity is needed.
2018
DPS celebrates its 40th anniversary. The introduction of the new merchandise management system marks a milestone in the company’s history.
2022
Dr. Tim Hellwig takes over as managing director of DPS and inkosmia GmbH & Cie. KG.
Dalheim Pharma Service is actively involved in regional and national social projects and thus fulfills its corporate social responsibility. The promotion of regional projects is particularly close to our hearts, which is why we actively support the service club Round Table 86 Wetzlar and its motto “For children in and around Wetzlar”. Dalheim Pharma Service supports the cooperation of Pharmacists without Borders with Armut & Gesundheit e.V. in Mainz with urgently needed gloves and FFP2 masks.
The Christmas parcel convoy operates according to the motto “Children help children”. In order to bring joy to children, every year children pack gift packages with their families. These are distributed by the Christmas parcel convoy to needy children in Eastern Europe. Together with RT 86 Wetzlar, we supported this campaign.
Regular hand washing and proper hand hygiene are important not only in pandemic times. Therefore, together with Round Table, we donated automatic soap dispensers and liquid soaps to kindergartens and daycare centers in Wetzlar.
